Theme: Crowd Innovation Stories

This event occurred on
October 20, 2012
1:00pm - 5:00pm PDT
(UTC -7hrs)
San Francisco, California
United States

The theme of the day is innovation that comes from "garage inventors" that successfully become products in the market. We hear a lot about crowd-innovation, co-creation, open innovation, but we rarely hear about the stories of people who are successful at creating these products in their garages and who are able to work with large organizations, startups or crowd platforms to commercialize these inventions.

At TEDxEmbarcadero, we will be providing a face and voice to the unsung innovators who will inspire and empower the audience to get their hands dirty and innovate!
