Marina Gibson

Social Entrepreneur & Urban Farmer
Grow. Teach. Sell. Repeat - that's what I do. Farm. Eat. Repeat. We all want to eat. We all have to eat. What if our food could do more than just fill our belly? What if it can spark wonder as children learn how plants seem to make something from 'nothing'? What if our City in the Country has some 'country' in the city, for people to see production in action, for people to harvest just before they eat, and what if learning about growing food gives adults some garden therapy and even work experience?

Pam Paquet

Psychologist
Pam's expertise is in organization psychology and she understands what makes people tick—how they think and act. Her specialty is creating change in people and workplaces with a focus on helping them stop doing what does not work.

Ray Hill

Retired
Ray believe that anyone hearing his TED talk will walk away with a mission, his mission, to “save humanity”. Worldwide media is steadily distancing people from reality, and shaping our minds to not care about the death and suffering or even feelings of others. We are all becoming spectators to our own existences and those of others around us, and not participants. Because of this, we are becoming less humane. We live in fear and because of this we are paralyzed and do not act. Ray will share ideas about how to fight back, how to take hold of the future and how to muzzle fear.

Sherry Sinclair

Executive Director
Sherry is the Executive Director of the BC Association of Family Resource Programs.
