In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Hatice Çağlar

Hatice Çağlar, her yıl 20’den fazla ülkede gerçekleştirilen ve global bir kamusal sanat etkinliği olan Ultra Kısa Film Festivali Art By Chance’in kurucu ortaklarından biri ve direktörü. 1978 yılında İzmir’de doğan Çağlar, sinema eğitimini Türkiye ve İngiltere’de aldı. Art By Chance’den önce uzun yıllar yayıncılık alanında çalışan Çağlar, editörlük, yabancı telif hakları koordinatörlüğü, film ve reklam filmi prodüktörlüğü yaptı. 2010 yılından beri İstanbul’da çok yönlü bir yaratıcı stüdyosu olan sanatçının aynı zamanda günlük hayat ve bir arada yaşam üzerine sanat projeleri de var. Hatice Çağlar kendisini tam bir film tutkunu, psikoloji aşığı, güzel rastlantılara inanan ve kedilere hayran biri olarak tanımlıyor.

Mert Fırat

Mert Fırat, Turkish actor, Fırat was born in Ankara in 1981. He took part in a wide range of corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects and public awareness campaigns. Fırat works with various associations and foundations on corporate social responsibility, appears as a partner in two different projects. Firstly he put the “Sanat Mahal” project into practice with his partners in Bursa. This is a new social enterprise project aimed at creating an art space for the neighborhood and the city. Secondly, Fırat, one of the founders of www.ihtiyacharitasi.org contributes actively to planning and implementing of the project.

Mesut Keskin

22 years old Mesut Keskin, is a student at Galatasaray University in Computer Engineering. He has held the Presidency of the Youth Council of the municipality of Beşiktaş, representing 96000 young people. He represented Turkey in many national and international projects.Eventually,he represented Turkey in the United Nations Youth Council. To minimize inequality of opportunity in education, Mesut established E-Bursum ,a social enterprise, He won the Young Social Entrepreneur Award, with this initiative. He continues to work on E-Bursum for reaching more people.

Yelta Köm

Yelta Köm was born in Istanbul in 1986 and is an architect, writer and curator based in Istanbul. He practises as a partner in KOTUstudio and is the co-founder of (Herkes Icin Mimarlik) Architecture For All. He studied architecture at Yildiz Technical University Istanbul, and also studied as an exchange student at Aristotle University Thessaloniki. He completed his post-graduate degree at Staedelschule Architecture Class, Frankfurt. He is a graduate student at Mardin Artuklu University, Department of Architecture
