The first ever TEDWomen will be held in Washington, DC on December 7th and 8th. This global event will feature prominent speakers from around the world exploring the question: how are women and girls reshaping the world?

Yang Lan, Chinese businesswoman and talk show host, will be addressing TEDWomen live from the Beijing studio of her show “Her Village”, talking about the role women play in the development of China.

Following her talk to TED, Yang Lan will host a panel discussion on this subject with other women in business, exploration, and the non-profit world. The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.

Wednesday, 8th December – 9am to 11am.

This event is free and open to all.
