The speakers are personalities who have made tremendous impacts in the lives of people in the rural villages of Nepal.

Bishal Dhakal

According to Dr. Bishal Dhakal, to run a social enterprise, you need to be responsible, ethical and self-sustaining in all that you do. A practicing doctor by profession, he talks about bringing dignity and care to the patients after their discharge from the hospitals and how we can impact a much larger demographic through this service sector.

Manish Jha

Manish Jha has experience in working with youth and student wing leaders of political parties of Nepal for the past several years. He loves statistics and numbers and in this talk he tries to give us a statistical viewpoint of Nepalese politics in numbers and discusses on how we can us the youths of the country to lead us to the path of a more sustainable democratic society.

Pavitra Gautam

As a child, Pavitra Gautam loved experimenting and overcoming challenges. He always felt that learning could be made so much more fun if young curious minds were encourages exploring and expressing their ideas freely. In his TEDx talk, he talks about how he’s working with children to encourage them to take risks and experiment.

Rehchin Yonjan

Renchin Yonjan is a Social Architect and works in city beautification, environmental education and clean energy. She is best known for her contributions to turning neglected spots into beautiful gardens in the late 90’s. She talks about her dream project of creating a space in the center of the Kathmandu Valley
