TEDxBoise (an independently organized event) will bring eight live speakers to the inaugural TEDx event at the Boise Contemporary Theater on January 16, 2015. TEDx events have been held in communities and cities around the globe using the same format and bringing the same inspiration to audiences world-wide as the ever-popular web series “TED Talks”.

The TEDxBoise event, ICEBREAKER, is the inaugural TEDxBoise event in Boise. This first year’s speakers series will be immediately followed by an opportunity for audience members to meet the speakers and gather more information about each of the topics covered at a special after-party. Speakers will be available to answer questions and receive feed-back from the audience.

Live-stream simulcasts will be set-up around the Treasure Valley to ensure the maximum number of audience members can experience TEDxBoise’s ICEBREAKER live.

Viewing parties will be hosted by individuals or organizations wishing to share in the TEDxBoise experience.

Tickets for this year’s event at the Boise Contemporary Theatre are sold-out. Anyone interested in attending or hosting a TEDxBoise viewing party should contact the Marketing Committee at TEDxBoise@gmail.com. There is no charge for hosting a viewing party, and almost any site that has internet access can be approved.

TEDxBoise is organized independently, using the same parameters as the internationally recognized TED Talks. Presentations made at this year’s event will be uploaded to the TEDx Youtube channel immediately following this year’s event.
