In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self organized events that bring people together. TEDxRoermond is oriented towards developing a community of like-minded, highly informed and engaged innovators, designers, thinkers, technologists and environmentally and socially concerned individuals in the heart of Limburg. We bring together the leading innovative and imaginative thinkers and activators. This year we decided to change our theme into Breaking Boundaries. Each challenge offers people the opportunity to be big.
Go for it and make the impossible possible. Is greatness within reach for everyone? Of course! If you believe and act on it, you’ll grow and that means you will stand out from the crowd, visible and perhaps even in the spotlight. That’s exciting. In addition you run the risk of being disappointed because not everything will succeed. The size of the challenge is not important. What matters is what you put in motion. Our speakers this year will show what they have put into motion and what ‘dare to be great’ means, nothing other than daring to show yourself. Your strength and vulnerability. Breaking Boundaries breaks all borders. This is the theme of TEDxRoermond.
