Uncork Your Creativity
Welcome to TEDxLivermore 2014!

With an appreciative nod to our winemaking heritage, we chose the theme 'Uncork Your Creativity' to represent the deep roots, beauty and untapped potential of our home, the Livermore Valley, and the people who live, work and play within its majestic environs. One can admire the golden hills of spring, ribbed with green vineyards, savor the crisp waters of the Del Valle reservoir or relish the heady vistas of Mt. Diablo …. from every vantage point, our Valley cradles a lifestyle that remains friendly to families, community, connectedness and opportunity.

With that spirit in mind, we selected 15 speakers, powerful individuals from different walks of life, each of whom has successfully uncorked their creative self for a specific purpose, for the greater good. During their talks, each will share their lives, their talents and their visions ‐ from how creativity and fun builds humanity in prisons, to the opportunities for discovery found in the uppermost canopies of rainforests; from nurturing creativity in children to sharing life and meaning through music around the globe – in the hopes that you too, can be inspired to wonder, reflect and uncork your own creativity.

DeltaFusion

The DeltaFusion Festival was founded in 2011 by Cathie McClellan, a faculty member of the Theatre Arts Department at the University of the Pacific. An appreciation of the stunning combination of both natural diversity and cultural diversity in the Stockton area of California prompted Cathie to found the DeltaFusion Festival.
