Kelly Watkins

I was an RN for 17 years working in Hospice and Oncology. I had the opportunity to witness, first hand, the impact (or destruction) that nutrition can have on the human body. I realized that my passion was with teaching people to create healthy and balanced bodies BEFORE disease was present and that my values were no longer in alignment with Western Medicine. After nursing, I went on to study Holistic Nutrition, Integrative Cancer Treatments and became a practitioner of energy medicine modalities, including Polarity/Craniosacral Therapies. I've also been a Yoga Instructor for over 12 years, as well as a life-long, juice alchemist and a Mother to 5 incredible children. All of these things lead to my daughter Taylor and I opening up the first Cold Pressed Juice Company in Arizona a few years ago. I'm very passionate about sharing my knowledge and the benefits of juicing and cleansing with people in my new role as G.M. of Juby True (sister company of True Food Kitchen: Fox Restaurant Concepts and Dr. Andrew Weil owned)

We started this business because we believe in doing the things you love in life, eating well and surrounding yourself with people who make you happy. Short Leash Hotdogs combines these things and allows us to work with each other. Our mission is to serve a unique twist on a classic favorite. Our fare is simple and straight forward with a focus on using local purveyors and natural ingredients. We offer a multitude of toppings, unique combinations and are willing to accommodate your requests.

Payton Curry

Payton Curry, 35yr old Minnesota Native whose family lives in the hands of Western Medicine and Big Harmya, that's big Pharma to host. He has used cannabis throughout his life to help with depression, anxiety and his battle with brutal relationship alcohol. Through the use of cannabis he has helped mothers create tinctures to halt and prevent seizures, ease the harsh effects of cancer, cystic fibrosis and eating disorders. He promotes the munchies to all and encourages our country to talk a look at eating cannabis, which is a vegetable, as medicine. After all we have always been told to eat our vegetables.

Aaron Pool

After college, Aaron decided to open a fast-casual restaurant. People told him that he didn't have any experience and banks told him that he would fail. For those people who line up to enjoy his food everyday thank him for not listening to them.

Johnny Garippa

Much of my personal root system is entangled in Phoenix and the southwest, where I grew up and have found much of my love for the land and for our communities. Growing up in a large, Italian family that believes in and functions with many Old World values, such as caring for the land and working with your hands, the journey into this globalizing, technologizing New world that is taking shape on our watch has been quite the whirlwind. Having formally educated in the fields of business development, anthropology and historical theology I now find myself increasingly drawn to the power and wonder of taking seriously our personal and collective roles as stewards of the earth and her people. To that end I am currently enthralled with and enjoying the role of Farm Manager and Co-Director of a small city-farm and leadership development house which are part of the larger work of Neighborhood Ministries and the downtown westside communities.
