Theme: What now? Ya Şimdi?

At TEDxReset we realize that “stopping” is sometimes the most difficult thing to do; a lot more difficult than taking a step back or taking a step forward, especially in the midst of all the surrounding chaos and uncertainty...It certainly would be much easier to avoid the present moment all together, instead of confronting it head on and trying to understand it...

Yet we are determined to come to another full stop and refresh our minds and open our eyes once again as we do every year at TEDxReset...This might mean that we will be completely vulnerable in front of everyone...but this will not keep us from confronting the full implications and the meaning of being in this present moment and in this specific place in the history of mankind because we know we have to...

And we also know that if we are not satisfied with how things are in the present moment we need to think about what we really want in its place, so that we can work out how we can act on it, together...
After all of that has happened in the past year we feel it necessary to stop and ask this question to ourselves first, and then to each other... WHAT NOW?

With this concept in mind this year at TEDxReset 2014 we will be talking about a wide variety of subjects ranging from alternative economic models, to alternative communication models, to alternative life-work models... the future of education, new technologies and new designs that are changing the world...We will see where intersections between technology and art are happening.. and of course because this is a TEDx event we will also be talking about the miraculous things that are happening in our own local culture...
