When was the last time you take responsibility for the bad part of the education that you contributed? Well, don’t we all find it easy to point fingers? As an educator, Vongrathayuth came across many interesting things. One of which would be the surprise he has when he knows his students know more than what he teaches. Have we ever taken the time to ask how do children learn all that is not within the context of the textbook? Who has been educating them informally and non-formally? What about the things they know that bug us!? Do we have the right to blame? And more importantly, who to blame? As long as, Lifelong Learning remains a global concept, all stakeholders must be aware of their own influences in shaping the next generation.
