Ujjwal Kumar is a virtuoso who has mastered the art of playing over 20 instruments. It was a random search that left him with Ghatam and the voice that came out of it gained millions of audience and left the entire country appreciating the melody of his amazing music. The magic of his fingers did not come easy to him as this amazingly talented artist suffered through several challenges as a kid. From being an alcoholic to being one of the most renowned percussionist/fusion music creators, Ujjwal has indeed come a long way.
In his talk, he explains how he seeks to bridge the gap between Indian classical music and mainstream music so that everyone can enjoy good and quality music irrespective of their age group.
