Developing data and computation workflows are motivating us to pursue a data-driven life. Following developing trends, we look for meanings in numbers and colors, often forgetting that we are the very makers of those. To remain more human, we need to realize that the data and computation should be life-driven, not vice-versa. Our ways of making and using data will paint our future, and we need to develop a critical view to portray a more humanistic outlook. Filtering data and computation through art and design is one powerful way to do so.
