Jaqueline Góes de Jesus coordinated the team that sequenced the genome of the new coronavirus in 48 hours. Very clearly, she reports this feat to us and explains the importance of distance and social isolation, respiratory etiquette and hygiene measures to flatten the number of cases curve.
Jaqueline Góes de Jesus works in the biomedical field. She has a master's in Biotechnology in Health and Investigative Medicine and a PhD in Human and Experimental Pathology. As a researcher at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, she coordinated the team that sequenced the coronavirus genome in 48 hours.
