Human curiosity to understand and explore space, has allowed gigantic steps in technology development. These steps, although not always obvious, have brought space at the heart of our everyday life in the way we are interacting, educating, traveling, being entertained and are transforming a number of sectors like shipping, agriculture, climate change, security and much more.
Dr. Christina Giannopapa is permanent personnel of the European Space Agency (ESA) having held technical and policy positions; the last one being Head of Political Affairs. Her speech aimed at explaining the benefits of space technology and applications in our everyday day life. Isn't that amazing to realize how space technology becomes part of of our lives?
