When we want to avoid relying on fossil fuel to solve the intermittency problem of wind and solar energies, we need to store energy. However, conventional storage technologies are very expensive. With a demo and figures, Christophe Stevens is offering here two relatively simple solutions that enable us to reduce the cost of energy storage.
Christophe Stevens is a Belgian engineer trained in Agronomy (AgroParisTech in France) and in Agricultural engineering (Liege University in Belgium). After more than ten years of experience in the private sector, in the field of cost management and optimization, he created a technology that significantly reduce the cost of energy storage. He has invented and patented several systems to store energy for a cost lower than conventional batteries. Since 2013, he is the founder and CEO of SinkFloatSolutions, a company that proposes an oceanic renewable solution for storing energy.
