She also makes recommendations to move forward to a more just and equal industry by uplifting designers of color and teaching educational initiatives on race and fashion at global brands like Gucci and more.

The Model Alliance
The Model Alliance, a nonprofit research, policy and advocacy organization founded by Sara Ziff, promotes fair treatment, equal opportunity and sustainable practices in the fashion industry, from the runway to the factory floor. The organization has successfully changed the fashion industry in very real ways, from requiring private dressing rooms backstage at runway shows to providing legal action in response to sexual harassment to working for fair treatment of garment workers. (And I’m on the board!)
