Did you know that there are millions of people in the US who put themselves at risk each and every day they go to work? Nearly 60% of hotel housekeepers - mostly women of color and immigrant women - have experienced sexual harassment. Too often, they are powerless because these jobs are their livelihood. In this talk, social entrepreneur Yasmine Mustafa shares her experiences of living in fear as a refugee and undocumented immigrant, combating harassment in her previous jobs working in the hospitality sector, and how the #metoo movement is fueling change within the hotel/hospitality industry as a whole.
