When chef Julio Ritta decided to leave his restaurant and create a project to cook for homeless people in Porto Alegre, many people thought he was crazy. Today there are five actions per week, which offer much more than meal; they offer dignity, listening and affection to those who are assisted. Julio Ritta is the founder of the Cozinheiros do Bem - Food Fighters, an independent group, without political or religious connections that most helps street people in Brazil. In 2016, he was chosen by Google and Pirelli among the 15 Brazilians who changed the country for the best in the Braços Abertos project.
