In this talk, Harriet sheds light on Beauty Standards. It is a socially constructed notion that affects most if not all of the world’s population; a belief that we have to look, act and be a certain way. Beauty standards have evolved throughout the years and vary according to our geographical location, and it seems like we always want what somebody else has. She delves into this issue, addresses worldwide views, and talks about a few personal experiences and how she has overcome this idea.
