Evie begins her remarkable talk by indicating that everything that makes one person different from another is concentrated in 0,1% of the person’s DNA. She encourages us to value and to hold on to this 0,1% because it is what makes us unique. She mentions that while being different is easy, staying different is very complicated because of the constant pressure to please others and to fit in. Evie goes on to say that if social moulds did not exist, the problem of exclusion would be solved. She advises us to stay true to who we are because as individuals we have the opportunity to make a difference.
