Professor Emiko Hiyama at University of Kyushu has developed an original method to solve "many-body problems". She is trying to elucidate the nucleus called "hypernucleus" with it. The method to elucidate microscopic structure of atomic nucleus is now widely applied to macroscopic structures such as the universe and celestial bodies. The knowledge of cutting-edge technologies in physics gives us a need-to-know approach to tackle any unsolved problem.
