Globally we spend three billion hours a week playing video games. At its peak, 34 million people played FarmVille everyday, tending lovingly to their virtual crops. But what if as well as growing pixels online, millions of players were equally passionate about growing real produce and saving lives? An ‘Orbispce’ is a ‘world space’ using emerging technologies to erode physical, economic and emotional barriers. The Orbi-Platform connects in-game rewards with charitable (CSR) donations from corporates, which players can then give to causes they care about. This makes gamers more empowered than ever before, as they solve global problems online and in the real world - turning pixels into produce, infrastructure, medical aid and clean drinking water - to name just a few. Anna-Grace, Founder of Orbispace, shares her vision for the future of life-changing games.
