In 2014, Allison and her business partner opened a tiny plant-based café in an underutilized alleyway. They were certainly off the beaten track and expectations for success were modest at first, but they simply wanted to fill a niche and deliver a "homemade" dining experience. However, through harnessing the positive aspects of social media, they have seen the business grow at an astounding rate. What started out with four chairs and no menu- they now feed up to hundreds of people a day (from a 9 square-metre kitchen!) In this talk, Allison shares the journey of how her team is able to interact and entice their customers by following the golden rule: a picture is worth a thousand words!
