Why wider society finds conversations about sex difficult, especially with the young?
With this TEDx Talk Dr. Sophie King-Hill will challenge you to look at how teenagers are understood, how sex is perceived and the subsequent impact that these standpoints have upon young people.
Dr. Sophie is a Senior Academic Specialising in Policy, Sex and the Sexual Behaviours of Children and Young People. She is a senior fellow at the University of Birmingham and her focus is on first point assessment in children and young people, sexual health, controversial issues and teenage parents.
Dr. Sophie has an interest in policy implementation, transfer and success frameworks, and evaluation strategies. Sophie also teaches on the NHS Leadership Academy Award MSc in Senior Healthcare Leadership.
