• November 2019
Cantonese is the mother tongue of many people of Hong Kong and East Asian descent in the UK. Bonnie and her theatre company use music and theatre to help children learn Cantonese as a heritage language or as an additional language in a fun and engaging way. Bonnie is a Hong Konger based in London. She is the co-founder and co-artistic director of Little Bean Theatre, the first and only theatre company catering for Cantonese-speaking children and families in the UK. She is a theatre maker, researcher and teacher. Her research interest covers theatre and education as well as community cultural development.
