Zach Peterson was raised on a farm in rural Iowa before living in places like Omaha, Chicago and Los Angeles. Zach has become known around the country for his stand up comedy and podcasting. He headlines clubs and festivals around the country and his Podcast No Coast Comedy Club documents the smaller comedy communities in the country and the comedians that inhabit them. Zach also teaches stand up comedy and has held workshops around the midwest including at The University of Nebraska. Zach has always been open and up front about his struggles with mental illness joking about it for years. His speaking at TEDx is a culmination of what he has learned and experienced coming from a rural community from a family with a troubled history and bringing that to center stage around the country.
