High Above
Yung-Hsuan Wu, Edwin Jacot, Flavian Mèche, Lydia Chen, Maxime Calvete • TEDxIHEID
Adapted from Fialta's "High Above Chicago", this piece of piano quintet was composed by Yung-Hsuan Wu during the quarantine. Caught in melancholy and nostalgia, the piece explores one's longing for positivity and simultaneous fear for losing it. In the end, the piece expresses a flimsy thread of hope in the trailing notes.
