Cut carbon to save lives
Wendy L. Queen |
TEDxMartigny
• September 2017
Carbone dioxide emissions are one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time. Wendy Lee Queen presents her research as a Professor at EPFL-Valais Wallis, focused on designing porous molecular sponges that can be used in a variety of environmental applications, from carbon dioxide capture and conversion to water purification. But her ultimate goal is also to contribute knowledge towards solving globally important problems, and to help train a new generation of researchers to become future frontrunners in energy-related research.
