Why, when, how much and how do we sleep? An epidemic runs across the world: the addiction to wakefulness. That propensity to sleep less and less not only turns us into drowsy zombies, but also makes us sick, heavier and cranky. Sleeping is not mere comfort, it's necessary. Diego Golombek shows us that in order to dream, you must first sleep.
Diego Golombek is a Doctor of Biological Sciences (UBA), full professor at the National University of Quilmes and lead researcher of CONICET.
