Kids like Games. They don't like Vegetables. Urban Farmer and Game Designer Trevor Hyde is improving interest in and access to fresh foods through urban farming and the use of games with youth. Through simple innovative gaming, children, families, and communities can learn how to create meaningful and just change in their homes and communities.
Trevor Hyde is the Agricultural Educator and Farm Manager for SEEDS, a nonprofit urban farm and kitchen classroom that develops the capacity of young people to respect life, the earth, and each other through growing, cooking, and sharing food. After academia, at Trinity College, Yale, and UNC-Chapel Hill, earned a second Masters in Agriculture and Education at NC-State.
