Every crisis offers an opportunity for humanity. It was thought that the world would never recover from the widespread devastation caused by the second world war. But several good things emerged out of it. It gave birth to the United Nations, which vowed to rid the world of the scourge of war. Although the UN has not fulfilled its mandate, it still holds out hope for the world community. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by SSVM Institutions.
