Artist Tony Luciani shows us that through a participatory caregiving process we can all learn to be more willing to help others in times of need and also to discover profound, fulfilling joy while doing it. He shares his three-year visual diary documenting life with his aging mother, poignantly rediscovering her past that dementia was causing to slip away. Tony Luciani is a Canadian visual artist working in the mediums of painting and photography. He is known for his interpretive realist style and exploration of the themes of nostalgia, memory and aging.
