Working with innovation in a big organization, I will share the importance of intrapreneurship in established companies. At the speed in which change is happening in the business world today, big companies that do not embrace innovation and intrapreneurship will fall by the way side. The companies that do embrace it will surely distance themselves from their competitors and thrive long into the future. Media focuses a lot on entrepreneurs; our prime minister says that we need new firms that will move Norway into the future. However, that does not mean that our existing companies shall die out. We also have to acknowledge that big organizations must change, and they need the entrepreneurial minds inside the organizations to be a part of the future. By focusing on an intrapreneurial culture, the organizations will move forward in a higher phase than without.
