What do you envision when you think of success embodied in a person? How do you perceive others who are "different"? In her talk, Taryn Williams challenges the misconceptions society holds about those on the fringe. By leveraging her experience as a Former Foster Youth and Formerly Incarcerated woman, she's able to offer insight into the problems these populations face as well as viable solutions. She hopes to inspire others to look beyond appearances and resumes - to see the potential each of us holds and take a chance on one another.
