Tarun is one of the Co-Founders & CTO at Saathi, a purpose-driven next-generation socially responsible company dedicated to providing a sustainable solution for menstruators in India and the globe. He believes sustainability is important for our survival in the future and wants to give back to the masses. He is passionate about empowering women and removing the taboo associated with menstrual hygiene in India. Saathi is combining both of these goals in providing a sustainable high-quality product to menstruators everywhere. With innovative technology and business models, Saathi sets a new standard for menstrual hygiene and has been recognized globally by Time Magazine, UN Environment Program, UNIDO, Allure, Vogue, and others, for its social impact, innovation and sustainability. He leads the R&D, Product Development, Technical, Legal & Corporate Operations teams of Saathi to develop the highest quality product and ensure that the supply chain is completely sustainable for zero impact on the environment. He has spoken at the Destination Climate Change Summit by the United Nations, Huddle by Unltd India and at the Entrepreneur Start-Up Summit. He holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Nirma University and is a Unltd India Fellow, Global Cleantech Innovation Program Winner and Global Entrepreneur Summit Fellow. Prior to Saathi, he has experience running his family business in Handicraft, Steel, and Cloth Industry.
