Most of the people have no clue if what they know about life with a disability is actual fact or just stereotyping, prejudice or simply flat out wrong. Steven Claeys wants to set the record straight and with his story he hopes to inspire people to explore their own physical and mental boundaries at the same time. Stevens experiences in his new life revealed so much more than he could have ever imagined and he would love to share those insights with his TEDxBreda Talk.
Steven Claeys is an entrepreneur with a disability. He became a quadriplegic at the age of 24 en following his rehab he started a blog platform called rolmodel(.be) and Sitwear bvba, a company that creates and sells clothing for people with a disability. In 2017 Steven won one of the Ten Young Outstanding Person of the World -awards, issued by the JCI world headquarters.
