Herring Run
San Francisco Girls Chorus • TEDxSanFrancisco
Inspired by the annual journey of the herring from fresh to salt water and back again, Carla Kihlstedt composed and wrote Herring Run for the San Francisco Girls Chorus. The composition investigates our connection to the natural world, our community, our society, ancestral knowledge and individual will.
