Finding connection through minimalism and zero-waste
Ruby Bourke • TEDxUniMelb
“I’ve got a problem with this: Capitalism.” The world today is inundated with problems around sustainability, climate change and pollution. Many people are aware of the problems, but so few know how they can take action themselves. Ruby Bourke moved to Bali, Indonesia at the age of 16 and studied at the Green School, where she became a practising minimalist and advocate for waste reduction. In this insightful talk, Ruby disseminates the mindset behind a circular economy and calls for more mindfulness about the lives we live and the broader systems we contribute to.
