The British School in the Netherlands Senior School Voorschoten Rock Band performs the legendary punk-rock anthem 'Blitzkrieg Bop' by the Ramones. These students of the British School in The Netherlands love music and performed at the COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Music Festival earlier in 2019. All British School in the Netherlands students receive music lessons from ages 3 to 13 and a considerable number of them choose to continue with the subject for GCSE and beyond.
“Breaking the Mould” is the second TEDxYouth event organised by The British School in the Netherlands. Speakers explore ideas around ‘If I Could Lead for a Day’, ‘Tackling Tough Truths’ and ‘An Invitation for Change’.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, were x=independently organized TED event.
