How do you keep the public memory alive? Is it even possible?
R. Stein Wexler will present a public art project she co-created in Krakow, Poland. Through this piece, she will explore how participatory memorials can shift our relationship to places with traumatic histories.
Stein is an artist and urban planner currently working at Berlin's Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik. As a public art practitioner and policy consultant, her work focuses on amplifying silenced stories in public spaces to effect social change.
