False information spreads like a virus and in times of a pandemic, it is important to protect ourselves and those around us. We can all be agents of contagion. Laura is the executive and editorial director ofChequeado, the first fact-checking and anti-misinformation initiative in Latin America, among the first ten worldwide. She is also a member of the Board of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and of Sembramedia. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Gênero e Número of Brazil and the Law School of the Di Tella University. She holds a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and she's also a lawyer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She is a professor of Right to Information at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the UBA, professor at the University of San Andrés and teacher at the Gabo Foundation. She is a permanent contributor to the newspaper La Nación and a columnist at LNpm, a show broadcasted by the newspaper channel.
