After retiring from the Hong Kong Police as an Assistant Commissioner, Mr. Morgan is now the Director of Crisis Avert Ltd, specializing in crisis and critical incident management, leadership, crisis communications, negotiation and presentation skills.
During his 33-years service in the Hong Kong Police, Mr. Morgan was a trained hostage negotiator for over 24 years, required to respond to a wide range of crisis situations, including terrorist incidents, criminal and domestic hostage situations, suicide intervention and public order negotiations. Mr. Morgan was also the Commander of the Police Crisis Negotiation Unit for 12 years.
Mr. Morgan received advanced negotiation training in UK (Scottish Police College) and has post-grad degrees in Police Negotiations (Charles Sturt University) and Public Order (Crisis) Negotiations (Hong Kong University).
