Can the school understand that knowledge isn't there to be saved in the fridge of the mind? Is it possible to connect it with the life projects of the students? Pepe Menéndez is one of the promoters of the educational spring that's happening in Catalonia and he tells us his vision on these questions. Pepe is part of the directing team of the Fundación Jesuïtes Educació de Catalunya (Spain) and a promoter of the educational transformation project "Horitzó 2020". He's a profesor of literature, a journalist, and an expert in Professional Training. He directed the Centro de Estudios Joan XXIII – Jesuïtes Bellvitge and the Centre de Tecnologías Ituarte (CETEI -Jesuïtes Educació), an experimental centre for techno-educational innovation. He took part in crafting the education bill in Catalonia. And he's Catalonian, in case it wasn't clear.
