Nuru Karim is the Founder and Design Principal of Nudes, a practice which operates within the realms of cross-disciplinary cultures of public art, architecture-urbanism and computational design optimization/ fabrication powered by digital 'making' tools that address large networks of social, cultural and environmental problems by solving them.
He received his Masters in Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association [AADRL] London, United Kingdom. He has worked for Zaha Hadid Architects, London. His undergraduate studies included travel and education in the cities of Mumbai, Montreal, New York, and London.
Nuru's projects have received critical recognition both for their built work in competition and also design. His works have received several awards including a nomination for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in the 2013 cycle.
