Whether it happens in silence or in public, from a friend or a stranger, the fear of speaking out about sexual abuse has always been a challenge of its own. While we fight with our inner demons and guilt, we have to cope with the judgment and condemnation of our society. What will it take for us to break from these chains and liberate our bodies and mind?
Bio:
Noor Kassem Tofailli is a political science in international affairs and international business student at the Lebanese American University in Beirut. Both her majors shed light on and enhance her skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and analysis. Besides education, she possesses a special love for volunteering, serving, talking to people and learning new things. Noor believes in the importance of taking advantage of whatever life throws our way and making the best out of it.
