A lot of today’s decisions are made by AI already. Often, we are even not aware of it. Sometimes these decisions can have a heavy impact on our lives. AI already picks who goes to prison, it can decide if you get a job interview, and it makes predictions about you. But often these decisions are not transparent. It is hard to know why the AI came to a certain conclusion. Let‘s talk about what is needed to open up the black box of AI, and how open-source can help add transparency to AI decisions.
