Take 5 - a Jazz Standard by Paul Desmond (Dave Brubeck Quintett)
The birth city of Naile Tuncer and Jannis Hagmann is not the only thing they have in common. Moreover, it's the passion for jazz music that drives both.
Born in Berlin 1988, Naile's first attempts towards the scene of music were to play the violin. Inspired by her father and her Turkish roots, Naile's preferences towards singing became her passion. After several educational steps, she works now as a music educator and therefore teaches classes about jazz-singing for every age.
Traveling and working as a composer and writer are the main fields of employment that fill the schedule of Jannis Hagmann. Born in Berlin 1983, it all started with playing the piano and the saxophone.
Naile and Jannis are artists in the jazz octet Filu Mela, and together they created a unique act at the TEDx event this year.
