Afro-Feminism: A way to liberate African politics
Murunwa Mutele • TEDxLytteltonWomen
Murunwa's talk is a call for action to challenge patriarchy in African politics. It challenges the legalization and normalizations of patriarchal politics in Africa. Her talk teaches the audience about Afro-Feminism politics and the need for women in politics, since the population of Africa is largely female. This talk pleads with the people who have political power to open up political positions for women, because it has been almost 6 decades of political independence in Africa, and men have been the forerunners in building the political structure in Africa.
