Monick shares practical and actionable advice about how to create finances that are crisis-proof. She knows firsthand the devastation that an unexpected crisis can bring. Even though Monick had followed the commonly taught financial security path of going to college and grad school, getting a “good job with benefits,” and buying a house, she was far from financially safe. After she got fired in 2008, Monick found herself unemployed, with a newborn baby, and facing a world economic crisis and a non-existent job market. Her rapidly deteriorating financial situation led her to despair and near suicide, and eventually to a determination to seek a better way. Since surviving those scariest days, Monick has researched, tested, coached, and mentored thousands of women to create crisis-proof finances and ultimately financial freedom.
